DRAMA
MESSAGE FROM ABOVE - In this clip from "Halcyon" (www.halcyonfilm.com), Robert (Courtney Gains) sets up a camcorder so that his injured friend Danny (Mykel Shannon Jenkins) is able to watch video clips of his family before passing out from his pain. I scored this simply for piano, synth and organ to express the longing Danny feels to be on the surface and with his family rather than trapped below the ocean with time and oxygen running out.
SYLVIA'S THEME - Another clip from "Halcyon." Sylvia's theme highlights Sylvia's delicate, fragile nature and also functions as a love theme for Sylvia and her husband Robert.
LULLABY - A tender, gentle cue featuring strings, celesta and woodwinds, for a sequence in "Suicide Run" of a mother comforting her child.
FRIENDS FOREVER - A romantic cue from "Invisible" for a montage outlining the arc of a friendship over the course of a lifetime.
MARY'S PICTURE - A soft, reflective cue from "So Shall You Reap," as the main character Denny looks upon the picture of his deceased wife. The cue ends on an ominous note (no pun intended).
ABSOLUTION - A wrenching, tragic cue for strings from "Suicide Run," as one of the characters comes face to face with the consequences of their actions.
TRIBUTE - A tender, romantic cue for piano and strings from "Hot Ice," actually written to accompany a tribute video for US Figure Skating.
COMEDY
BERNIE'S BREAK-IN - A fun, peppy comedic cue from the film "Summer Interns," scored for woodwinds and pizzicato strings.
CLYDE: END TITLE - A crazed pop / jazz cue from "Clyde," a short film about a trouble-making ventriloquist's dummy.
THE SETUP - Another comedy cue from "Summer Interns," this one with a sneaky, jazzy, Mancini-esque vibe.
CLYDE: MAIN TITLE - You've heard the End Title from "Clyde," now hear the Main Title. Comedy music in a jazz / pop vein.
THE PROPOSITION - Sneaky music from "Summer Interns," this one as the bad guys conspire to do in the hero.
