9/27/15 John Schuermann's original soundtrack to "The Creep Behind the Camera" chosen as the "Top Soundtrack to Own" for the month of September, 2015 by Daniel Schweiger of "Film Music Magazine." From the review:
"Not only taking a cue from Howard Shore’s Theremin-whipped strum-und-creature score for “Ed Wood,” Schuermann throws in the kitchen sink of cult-ready grooviness into his wildly entertaining score. 70’s crime jazz? 60’s spy grooves? 50’s Elvis rockabilly? Les Baxter-meets-Henry Mancini Shagadelia? Latin mambo? Classic Universal horror chills? “The Creep Behind the Camera’s” got ‘em all, along veritable mad monster party of horror music clichés to spare. But rather then let his creatures run amuck, Schuermann is an especially clever Dr. Frankenstein with how well these crazed styles are thematically stitched together into one thematic creature." 10/21/14 Harry Medved, co-author of "The Golden Turkey Awards" and "The Fifty Worst Films of All Time" gives the score to "The Creep Behind the Camera" an excellent review!
"I love the film’s jazzy score by John Schuermann. It really evokes the off-kilter cheesiness of 50s-60s drive-in monster movies, featuring great use of the theremin and some wonderful wacky tributes to Dr. Frederick Kopp’s immortal score to the 1964 classic 'The Creeping Terror.'"

10/19/14 "The Creep Behind the Camera" screens at L.A. ScreamFest with MST3K's Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff as hosts! A good time was had by all, with lots of positive reaction from the audience and great questions from the crowd during the post screening Q&A. Trace Beaulieu (Crow T. Robot / Dr. Forrester) called the score "truly outstanding"!
4/10/14 The original score and sound mix is done for The Creep Behind the Camera! A feature length dark comedy,The Creep Behind the Camera chronicles the outlandish story of director Art Nelson in his audacious efforts to produce a monster movie in 1964. The result was the obscure yet cultish film, The Creeping Terror. Considered to be the worst movie ever made, it also became one of the most mind-boggling scams in the history of celluloid. The Creep Behind the Camera has already been accepted to several major film festivals, including the Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam and Montreal Fantasia.
